Boston Scientific is pleased to announce the appointment of Xavier Bertrand as president and senior vice president for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, effective 01 December 2024. In his new role, he will lead the regional business and also join the company’s global leadership team as a member of the Executive Committee.

With a remarkable 25-year career in the medtech industry, Xavier Bertrand brings a wealth of experience and a visionary approach to his new role. His extensive background in leading commercial endeavors across Boston Scientific’s Peripheral Interventions, Healthcare Partnerships and Solutions, Structural Heart, and Interventional Cardiology businesses, as well as his cross-divisional roles in business development and finance, position him perfectly to drive continued success in the dynamic and diverse EMEA region.
